So in the past few months, my daughter had surgery, I had a near death experience and ended up the hospital, my husband and I were assualted and he ended up in the hospital getting surgery, a close friend of ours fell off the top of a houseboat and drowned.

My roof sprung a leak, my dryer stopped heating, my Jeep needs brakes, rotors, shocks and tie-rods, my son needs his root canal finished and his BMX needs the back tire replaced and I need to finish buying the flooring for the living room.

Maybe the whole universe is out of alignment.

So I received most all of my doctor bills from my little visit to the ER.

The total is $3,464.00 with a little note that states if I pay in full in the next 21 days, I will get a 25% discount. That would be a savings of $866.00, bringing that total down to $2,598.00.

Also, there is my ambulance service of $629.00; and

Radiologist bill of $24.00;

All totalling $3,251.00; and then

My daughter's radiology bill is $179.00, bringing a new total to $3,430.00.

I am thinking about paying all of them on my credit card, so it becomes one payment and I can save myself some money, which of course, would go towards interest on the credit card depending on how long it takes me to pay it off.

That is my plan, but I am having a hard time keeping up with Dave Ramsey. Life just gets in the way.
